Nintendon't?? Fine I'll do it myself#

Anyone remember the Mario Bros movie? Ya, me either. Never saw it Thank God! This reaction is possibly why Nintendo is refusing to create a movie based on, in my humble opinion, one of the best game series Nintendo ever created, Legend of Zelda. Which is a damn shame. Done right, Legend of Zelda has the potential to be a great movie.

But fear not, a group of die hard enthusiasts have taken it upon themselves to fulfill this gap in cinematic history. Financing the movie completly with their own money, they taken their creativity and love of the game into a film that they will debut as a film fesitval and fan movie peice complete with what sounds like a great story, animations, CGI and appearances from some of the more famous zelda characters.

View the trailer here. At the time of writing this, their site was experiencing some technical difficulties that they'll hopefully have resolved soon.

I need a driver...#

I watched the Transporter 2 this past weekend. Now as a loyal Audi owner, I was thrilled the movie executives had chosen to use an Audi A8 as the transporters car of choice for this movie (don't get me wrong, the 7 series in the first movie was nice). It was apparent about 20-30 minutes into this movie that it was going to end up like so many other hollywood movies following on the tail of a successful first offering. Too much special effects not enough real driving.  For those of you that have seen the movie, you know what I speak of *cough* barrell roll bomb removal *cough*. I'm not saying this is a worthless movie, just don't have really high expectations of great car chases when you pony up for that ticket.
